A Continued Journey

Being a military family, we have to say a lot of good-byes, which said plain and simply... they stink! We had to say good-bye to a lot of amazing friends and family who loved us, mentored us and changed us. The thought of leaving all our friends in Santa Maria was hard but I also think, if we had not moved there we wouldn't have met any of those amazing people, so who/what does God have in store for us here in Omaha?! We were tremendously blessed by being a part of their lives and their stories. We left different, better because of them.

On the other hand, as a family on the move, we have a tremendous opportunity. We are able to move all of the country, literally! (never thought I would live in Nebraska!). We get to meet people from all over and we are able to be apart of something bigger than ourselves. The kids are learning to be adaptable and to seize every opportunity they have. Our goal is to take what we have learned at each assignment and invest it in the next. We have a passion to use our resources and invest in each community that we are apart of, and our kids are determined to be world-changers, and that, they will be.

So, as God has provided for us and shown His great faithfulness throughout the years, I know he will continue to in this "new beginning". We are excited to see what God has in store for our family over the next three years!
