Baby Update

Well, Ave and I headed up to my weekly check-up again this morning. Didn't think I would have had to make that trip again but here I am...STILL pregnant! He doesn't seem to be wanting to come out, and not a lot has changed since last week. At this rate, we'll be lucky to have this baby by Christmas! It is a little surprising because Ave was already a couple of days old at this point. But I am feeling great, and he'll come when he is ready!

Harvest Dance Performance

Last Saturday, Avery had her third dance performance, which needless to say went MUCH better than her first two! She has been dramatically improving and looks forward to class every week. I can't believe how far she has come since we started.

Emi's on Vacation!

Well, it have been just Ave and me this week. Ben had to go TDY to Florida for a couple of days. Yeah, can you believe it...Cocoa Beach?! I'm sure he hasn't had any fun! Before he left, Avery told him that he could take Emi with him so he wouldn't be lonely. This is a HUGE deal, she has two of these pink poodles that she has not let leave her side since she was a one! Ben has been taking pics for Ave over the past few days that are just too funny. I just can't get over what everyone is thinking that sees him taking pics with a pink poodle!

Daddy-Daughter Date

A couple of weeks ago, Ben took Avery on a daddy date to the Santa Maria Air Show. I stayed home and enjoyed some peace and quiet, which was wonderful. Ave got to get in a helicopter and that is all we've heard about since! Ben is thrilled that she already shares his passion for planes and flying, he's got high hopes for her already!

Almost Completed Nursery

Finally, here are some pictures of the nursery. (It was super difficult to get the right lighting for the BRIGHT orange paint!) We still have things to hang and last minute touches but all that will come in time.
