Our Year of Change

Here we are mid way through January and I have finally had time to process what this year is going to bring. This is going to be a year of change and adventure for us. God is going to take us to new places, literally, as we will be moving in the summer and Avery will start kindergarten! AGH! But I think God has plans for our family to grow, besides the obvious that we welcome a new baby to our family, He is calling us to more, to do more for His Kingdom. He is calling us to step out in faith and with boldness and allow Him to lead our family and use us for His greater purpose. We are not sure where we are going at this point, but He does.

I am excited about this coming year, yes, it will be stressful and I'm sure it will bring much heartache and tears, but it will also bring new beginnings and fun adventures.

On another note, we found out last week that we will be having another baby BOY! Avery was very excited to find out she'll have another brother. I'm actually a little shocked there was no disappointment that she's not getting a sister. But Graysen is going to love having a buddy and Avery is definitely strong enough to deal with two little brothers. As for a name, well, jury's still out on that one. I know what I like, I just have to convince Ben he likes it too!

We took the kid's to a movie on Christmas Day, which was the first time to the Theater for both of them and of course, they loved it!

The Boat House

So before I get into Christmas and New Years posts, I realized I had forgot to share the rest of the pictures from Nana and Dada's trip. Not to mention, this was our favorite thing of their trip here.

Ben had been wanting to go to this place called the Boat House for a while, and having company seemed like a great excuse to finally go up there. Despite taking us a while to get in the gate, due to oh, about 15 different locks and one key (?), we finally got there.

But it was so worth it, wouldn't you say?

And after touring around the house and walking down about a thousand stairs, we made it to the coolest tide pool area, where we had a blast exploring the waters. There were even sea lions out on the rocks keeping us company.
